RP Digital Tribe offers a Machine Learning Internship designed to provide you with practical experience in solving real-world problems using machine learning techniques. This internship will equip you with skills in data analysis, model building, and problem-solving using machine learning algorithms.

Internship Details

During this 1-month internship, you will complete 5 tasks that will help you build a portfolio of machine learning projects. Each task will challenge you to apply various ML algorithms to real datasets and solve real business problems.

• Task 1: Movie Genre Classification – Build a model to predict the genre of a movie from its plot summary using classification techniques.
• Task 2: Credit Card Fraud Detection – Detect fraudulent credit card transactions using machine learning algorithms.
• Task 3: Customer Churn Prediction – Predict customer churn for a subscription-based service using customer data.
• Task 4: Spam SMS Detection – Develop a model to detect spam SMS messages.
• Task 5: Handwritten Text Generation – Implement a character-level recurrent neural network (RNN) to generate handwritten-like text.

How to Complete the Internship

To complete the internship, you must:

1. Work on the 5 machine learning tasks and upload your solutions to GitHub.
2. Maintain a separate GitHub repository (named CODSOFT) for each task and share the repository links in the task submission form (which will be provided via email).
3. Use online tutorials and resources to guide your learning and implementation.
4. Create a video demo showcasing your work and the models you built. Upload it to LinkedIn or YouTube.
5. Tag @CODSOFT on LinkedIn and include the hashtags #MachineLearning, #Internship, #RPInternship to build credibility and visibility.

Internship Completion Certificate

Upon successful completion of all tasks and submission, you will receive a Completion Certificate from RP Digital Tribe, recognizing your skills in machine learning and model development.

The following are the tasks you will work on during this internship:

1. Movie Genre Classification

Create a model to classify the genre of a movie based on its plot summary. Use algorithms like Naive Bayes or Logistic Regression, and techniques such as TF-IDF or word embeddings.

2. Credit Card Fraud Detection

Build a model to detect fraudulent transactions from a dataset of credit card transactions using classifiers like Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, or Random Forests.

3. Customer Churn Prediction

Develop a model to predict customer churn based on historical data, customer behavior, and demographics. Use algorithms like Random Forests or Gradient Boosting.

4. Spam SMS Detection

Build a model to classify SMS messages as spam or legitimate. Use classification techniques such as Naive Bayes or Support Vector Machines with techniques like TF-IDF.

5. Handwritten Text Generation

Implement an RNN to generate handwritten-like text. Train your model on a dataset of handwritten text examples and generate new text based on learned patterns.
